If you are looking for a secure mail client, you can try THUNDERBIRD by mozilla, which is a pretty darn good mail client, and again, you are much less likely to be hit by a virus when you avoid Microsoft web products. Most viruses are written to take advanatages of holes in MS products, so by moving your mail and surfing to other products, you have already done a bunch to protect yourself.
